The theme for the evening ‘million of styles, million of smiles’, kicked off with a lively opening parade of ‘hollywood’ stars and dancers accompanied by the sound of war drums. Dining to the soothing music by Oli and pianist, the guests settled in to enjoy the Chinese styled cuisine. The performance by Fredo and the Flintstone was superb with the crowd warmly entertained by the maestro with down the memory tunes and melodies. The highlight of the evening was the show time by Phua Chu Kang, the Mediacorp artiste from Singapore which brought much gaiety and laughter to the crowd. Bravo to the guests who so sportingly and gamely participated on stage with lively interactions to the hilarious and witty antics of the comedian. There were many a smiling faces amongst the audience who were kept mesmerized by the jovial down to earth treats and tricks and the deep pitched songs rendered by the versatile artiste. The evening just flowed through wonderfully keeping most of the audience on their seats till past 11:00 pm when the last lucky draw for the top five prizes were drawn. The crowd indeed had had an entertaining and fun filled time judging from the positive feedback.
