PRESTIGE Grand Final, 17-18 Dec 2011, Prince Hotel & Residence, KL

The MGA together with key industry experts and speakers from Shell, ExxonMobil,PETRONAS, EcoKnights (NGO), Gas Malaysia and Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) once again joined forces to manage the PRESTIGE Grand Final 2011. This year’s PRESTIGE program marked the end or closing of the first round of PRESTIGE Program which started way back in 2008. An overwhelming response was received from the winners of the PRESTIGE program held between year 2008 to 2010 namely Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia UKM), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) and Institut Teknologi Petroleum PETRONAS (INSTEP).

A total of 70 final-year engineering students from the above four institutions/ universities participated in the 2-day workshop.

UKM Team no-2, the winner of this year’s program received the MGA PRESTIGE Grand Final Award for 2011 comprising a champion trophy and cash incentive of RM5,000. The runner up team, i.e UTeM Team no-1, received book vouchers worth RM1000 and INSTEP Team no-1 the 3rd winning team, received book vouchers worth RM500. Top
