03 Dec 2009
Industry Dinner 2009 is indeed a very special and laudable occasion which saw the coming together of the 5 esteemed associations to join hands in organizing this auspicious event.
We have MOGSC - the Malaysian Oil & Gas Services Council, MOGEC - the Association of Malaysian Oil and Gas Consultants (MOGEC), OSFAM - the Offshore Structure Fabricators Association of Malaysia, VDP Club - the Oil & Gas Vendor Development Program Club and MGA - the Malaysian Gas Association, celebrating the evening with their members, friends and affiliates.
With the strong representation by the varied sectors ranging from prominent gas and oil players, engineering consultants, offshore structure fabricators and specialized industry service providers, we have the presence of a ‘power-house’ of influential industrialists and companies that are instrumental in contributing to the nation building and development of Malaysia. The sporting and joyous 850-strong crowd was entertained to a fun-filled evening by guest artiste Francisca Peter, comedian Douglas Lim and music accompaniment by Heavy Machine. Unwinding to the chimes and memorable moments of the 70’s, laughing to the witty antics of the comedian, swirling on the dance floor, participating on stage and as winners of the lucky draws, savoring the sumptuous food, everyone indeed have had an enjoyable, entertaining and engaging evening.
The organizers sincerely accord their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the many member companies and associates and friends who have contributed in taking up the dinner tables, in the sponsoring of prizes for the lucky draws and rendering of support services for the success in this event.
It is hoped that this dinner will serve to forge stronger bonds between and within the members and friends and affiliates of the 5 associations towards beneficial and fruitful cooperation in the industry.
